Settlement Conferences and Private Judging are additional ways to avoid the expense and aggravation of going through the court process.

In Private Settlement Conferences, Ms. Ponticiello works to assist the parties and/or their attorneys to come to an out of Court settlement, thus avoiding the unnecessary cost of litigation. This is accomplished through the informal means of meetings and a discussion of the issues all scheduled at the parties convenience. Due to her extensive background as a hearing officer, Ms. Ponticiello has been extraordinarily successful in achieving settlements in cases, thus saving the parties time and money.

In Private Judging, Ms. Ponticiello is authorized by the parties and/or their attorneys to make decisions about their case that has the same weight of a Superior Court Judge. There is usually an informal trial, which occurs in a law office. The evidence is presented by the attorneys through testimony and documents and a binding decision is made by Ms. Ponticiello.
